Our mission is to take you on a maritime journey along the breathtaking 38 km coastline of the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park in Arrabida. Explore the parks unique cliffs, rich biodiversity, diverse flora, and fauna, with a special fondness for the majestic cetaceans. Join us in discovering the natural wonders of this enchanting marine paradise.

DayDream Experience was born in 2017 in Sesimbra, a fishing village in the protected watersof Arrábida’s Marine Park.

Founder André Fava, passionate about the sea, began with one boat after years of experience in maritime tourism.

Now, a skilled team shares their knowledge to inspire others to explore, appreciate, and protect the beauty of nature.

Meet the DayDream Experience team—passionate skippers, divers, and marine experts dedicated to the sea and conservation.

André FavaSkipper Activity LeaderAt 16, I began working in Hospitality and Catering, continuing for 12 years while earning my Mechanical Engineering degree. I trained as a Fisherman-Sailor and worked on fishing boats. In 2017, I bought a boat, and launched Daydream Experience. Since then, I’ve been continuously expanding my expertise through training.

Catarina MendesSkipper and Marine BiologistMy love for the sea began in childhood, exploring tide pools with my father. After graduating in Marine Biology in 2013, I studied cetaceans in Croatia. Back in Portugal, I became a diving instructor, skipper, and sailor. In 2022, I joined Daydream Experience as a cetacean guide, observing these animals up close.
