IS THE DOLPHIN SIGHTING GUARANTEED?
We are happy that, over the years, we have always been able to show these wonderful beings. However, it is important for the observer to understand that dolphins or any other marine species are found in their natural habitat, in the wild. This means that the search time or observation location is always a surprise and never the same. We try our best not to influence or disturb their eating, behavioral or social habits, therefore feeding, chasing or swimming with these beings is not allowed.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO OBSERVE OTHER SPECIES WHEN LOOKING FOR DOLPHINS?
Yes! Although bottlenose dolphins or common dolphins are the target species of the observation, sometimes, when we have to move a little further from the coast, it is possible to see other species of cetaceans, such as pilot whales, minke whales, other species of dolphins or even orcas. It is also possible to see sharks and sunfish on the surface. It is also possible to observe seabirds, such as gannets, shearwaters, cormorants, terns, among others.
Most of these species are migratory, which means that the probability of being seen is not constant over the course of a year.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING FOR THE TOURS?
You should bring comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for the weather conditions of the season. In the summer, you can bring cooler clothes and swimwear, as there is the possibility of a swim. However, do not forget to always come prepared with a sweater or jacket, the climate can be cooler at sea. In winter, we advise you to come with more layers, such as a good coat, gloves or a beanie.
We recommend using sunscreen.

ARE OUR TOURS SUITABLE OR SAFE FOR BABIES, PREGNANT WOMEN OR PEOPLE WITH BACK PROBLEMS?
Our tours are suitable and safe for any age or physical condition. However, certain weather conditions may make the tour not recommended. If you have any of these conditions, please contact us in advance so that we can check the weather conditions and give you our opinion.
DO BABIES MUST HAVE A TICKET?
Yes, although they do not occupy a seat on the boat, they count as part of the maximum capacity of the vessel stipulated by law, which means that it is considered an occupied seat.
I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SWIM. IS IT SAFE TO EMBARK ON A TOUR?
For sure! Our boats are equipped with various safety devices. Before the tour begins, life jackets will be distributed and an onboard conduct and safety briefing will be provided.
WHY DO WE RECOMMEND DOLPHIN WATCHING IN THE MORNING PERIOD?
In the morning, weather and sea conditions are better, calmer and more conducive to the sighting of wild marine life. The probability of seeing abundance and diversity of species is greater, as animals have more active behavioral feeding habits.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I ARRIVE AT THE MEETING POINT AFTER DEPARTURE TIME?
If you arrive significantly late for the tour and the boat has already left, we ask for your understanding. There are other schedules that we have to comply with and a significant delay could jeopardize the normal course of the tour. For that reason, we ask that you arrive 10 minutes in advance to meet our team and get ready for it. If you manage to anticipate your delay, please contact us before the activity starts so that we can help you.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE TOUR IS CANCELLED?
All our tours are subject to change due to sea and weather conditions. If the necessary safety conditions are not met, the tour will be rebooked or cancelled. If this happens, you will be informed in the 24 hours prior the activity where we will talk to you to try to find a solution and reschedule. The activity may also be canceled on the same day, in case of fog or unexpected adverse weather conditions.
If you are unable to reschedule, you will be given a full refund of the activity.

WILL I BE ABLE TO OBSERVE MARINE LIFE CLOSE UP?
The approach distance depends on sea conditions and, mainly, on the behavior of the species in question.
Seabirds are usually more cautious and fly as the boat approaches. Dolphins, on the other hand, like to play with the movement and the waves that the boat creates in the water and tend to get very close, playing on the bow or performing jumping shows. But just like us, when there are days when we feel like being quieter or days when we are more suspicious, the same thing happens with these animals.
As we mentioned in a previous question, these animals are found in their natural habitat, in the wild, and we never know what kind of behavior they will have until we start observing them. If they are shy, we will do our best not to disturb them and we will keep an acceptable distance so that they do not feel threatened. This can happen, for example, with groups that have calves, sick or injured dolphins or smaller groups.
